Some people watching photos from a weekend in Toulouse during the rugby world cup and a 5km “RAD” fun run where all the runners (thousands of them closed the city centre to traffic) were bombed with 8 different colours of pigment. On a cultural note, the Toulouse organ festival was on at the same time.

Auberge de la Croisade
Lunch at Auberge de la Croisade, a very attractive restaurant by the Canal du Midi on the D36 South from Cruzy. Followed by a beautiful walk among the autumn leaves, along a secluded part of the canal, starting in the restaurant car park. Unfortunately, the evidence of a fungal disease ceratocystis fimbriata platani, which is attacking the plane trees, is visible with a number of recently cut tree stumps along this part of the canal bank.
