We were lucky to get the last table at lunch on 23 December at Le Bon Georges, before it closed for the Xmas break, reopening on 5 January. This is a 9th arrondissement neighbourhood bistro, friendly staff, congenial atmosphere, serves simply executed dishes using quality ingredients.

An excellent Sunday afternoon at Astier, a classic Parisien bistro in the 11th arrondissement, established in 1956. The food & wine were much better than the photos, which were taken with my phone.
